Just one little word has garnered Newscorpse columnist Andrew Bolt his second win in The Bug’s Media Glass House Arselicker of the Month trophy in just a few short months.
And The Bug’s panel of judges is starting to wonder how many more times this controversial writer will have his hands clutching the uncoveted award in the months ahead if he keeps calling attempts to cement The Voice in the Constitution as “racist”.

Okay, as you can see we’ve circled both dangerous and racist from a recent Bolt spray but our judges considered “racist” alone was ring-mastery of its arse-licking finest and they doubt Rupert Murdoch will have any need whatsoever to buy dunny paper in the months leading up to the Voice vote if Bolt, as expected, continues his crusade on that theme alone.
Our senior judge said: “If indeed it was Joseph Goebbels who coined the phrase “accuse your enemies of that you are guilty of”, he’d be blushing with pride in his grave right now.”
Bolt last won the Arse-Licker of the Month trophy (before Janet Albrechtsen was granted naming rights) for his fine effort back in April when, rimming with confidence, he lauded Lachlan Murdoch for sacking Tucker Carlson, arguing that no single person (except himself, perhaps) was greater than an organisation as wonderful as the Murdochs’ highly professional and ethical global news outfit.
