As the Melbourne International Comedy Festival draws to a close, The Bug has unearthed a sensational new performer whose straight-faced parody of a far-right wing political commentator has had audiences rolling in the aisles. Time is running out to catch Peta Credlin’s act that she has cunningly crafted around the mire Peter Dutton has created for himself with his outright opposition to the indigenous voice to parliament referendum. We caught her act earlier this week and can only urge comedy lovers to be quick to buy tickets because the festival ends on Sunday and we predict full houses for Ms Credlin.
