Simon Benson continues to slip in and out of consciousness in a Sydney private hospital this morning after fainting dead away at lunchtime yesterday on hearing some very shocking and terribly upsetting news.
As this exclusive report was getting close to being uploaded, hospital staff still had grave concerns for Benson who is in intensive care in the Rebekah Brooks wing of the Rupert Murdoch Private Hospital for Real Journalists in leafy Rose Bay.
Benson is The Australian newspaper columnist recently appointed chair of a steering committee created by all the MSM outlets operating in NSW to coordinate their efforts to ensure the return of the LNP in just six days to a much-deserved fourth term.
Benson (pictured below recently addressing a meeting of top MSM editors and producers) was the unanimous choice for the position following the recent news detailing his heavy involvement as one of the nation’s most senior, highly respected and independently minded journalists in ensuring the deadly and illegal RoboDebt non-debt recovery scheme killed as many innocent Australians as possible.

In recent days, he has ripped into Liberal and National Party voters for not showing their support for Premier Dominic Perrottet’s excellent future-fund plan for kids by “opening their wallets and having a big flutter on Dom’s much-deserved re-election”.
He was “gobsmacked” that LNP supporters had not grabbed very lucrative prices for a two-horse race, the best for some days up to last Wednesday being Bet365’s $4.50 for the LNP and $1.16 for Labor. He knows momentum is the key at this late stage of the campaign and he saw a tightening in the markets as crucial for talking up the dangers of a hung parliament and scaring voters into sticking with the devil they know.
But around midday yesterday, he was told the major online bookie Sportsbet had blown out the chances of a LNP win next Saturday to $6 – almost unbelievable odds in a two-horse race. TAB was not far behind with the Perrottet government at $5.50 to win a fourth, four-year, term.

Benson was heard to scream “No! That can’t be!” before slumping to the floor at The Australian‘s news room in Sydney.
Cruelly for Benson, he was said to be making reasonable recovery progress this morning (as the image at top shows) but fainted dead away again and shit his hospital gown when a nurse let slip that the $6 on offer from Sportsbet had not budged one inch since those odds were framed almost 24 hours earlier, proving LNP supporters had completely failed to take the bait and were nowhere near as stupid as he had hoped or expected.
