Have a punt, LNP backers urged!

LNP “true believers” have been slammed for not backing the return of the Perrottet government by grabbing the lucrative odds currently on offer by online bookies.

The fierce criticism comes from Simon Benson, spokesperson for almost the entire mainstream media operating in the state who have vowed “to do whatever is necessary to see Premier Dominic Perrottet returned to a well-deserved fourth term in the nation’s premier state”.

The Australian newspaper columnist was recently appointed chair of a steering committee created by those MSM outlets to coordinate their efforts to ensure the return of the LNP. Benson was the unanimous choice for the position following the recent news detailing his heavy involvement as one of the nation’s most senior and respected journalists in ensuring Robodebt killed as many innocent Australians as possible.

“The odds being offered on the LNP is what is a two-horse race are almost unbelievable,” Benson told The Bug this morning. (see top graphic).

“Clearly LNP true believers are not yet willing to cash in on LNP odds that range from $4.75 to $5.50. They need to empty their wallets and get the LNP odds right down.

“Our media partners such as Sky News can’t rely solely on promoting dodgy internal Liberal polls for ever to paint a picture of the sort of close election contest in which it’s easier for us to frighten voters with a hung parliament scenario and hence the need to support the devil you know on 25 March.”

Benson of course is spot on. On Saturday morning, the six online bookies being monitored by The Bug have Labor on average at a smidge over $1.16 – almost prohibitive odds – and the LNP at the juicy, mouth-watering odds of just under $4.96.

Benson lamented: “Those odds have barely changed since that excellent Roy Morgan poll earlier last week that showed NSW voters were finally waking up to the dangers posed by Chris Minns and his woke, socialist, Labor comrades. Labor is now only 52-48 ahead on two-party terms and that will continue to shrink on the back of the excellent work being done by our MSM partner members.

“Punters who believe in the need to see the LNP returned as do all our partners need to get cracking .. and right now! Put some hard-earned on right now!”

Benson singled out The Daily Telegraph for “the brilliant journalism being undertaken there to see the Right result on 25 March”. He called on other MSM outlets to “match their amazing efforts”.

“The journalists at the Tele – writers, subs, artists – must be immensely proud of the effort they are putting in,” he said.

“The voters of NSW could easily be led to believe the LNP was the only political group contesting the election.

“I know Ben [Ben English, The Daily Telegraph editor] is very, very proud of his troops Right now.”
