There’s safety in dressing right!

FASHION NEWS:

A leading women’s fashion brand is boasting record national sales on the back of the strongest of endorsements from the national broadsheet, The Australian.

“All stocks in all of our signature stores have virtually flown out the door,” a Carla Zampatti spokesperson told The Bug. “We’ll also take many months now to fill and clear all the orders that have flooded in and we can’t thank The Weekend Australian last Saturday enough.”

The spokesperson was referring to that newspaper’s splash (above) on February 18 when in an interview with former Morrison government minister Linda Reynolds, journalists Janet Albrechtsen and Stephen Rice made it fairly clear that Brittany Higgins could not have been raped in the minister’s office one night in March 2019 because she was seen leaving Parliament House the next morning wearing a Carla Zampatti jacket!

This was also made clear in online promotions by The Weekend Australian for that interview.

“People all over Australia have clearly joined all the dots and worked out how that jacket defined ‘the gaping divide between the public’s perception of the Higgins saga and what others knew’,” the spokesperson said.

“It all becomes fairly obvious when you think it through. It’s not rocket science. That jacket protected Ms Higgins and it’s indeed a crying shame that somehow her recollections of that drunken night have become so muddled that a decent young man’s reputation has been impugned.

“It’s why we at Carla Zampatti are so grateful to those two highly respected journalists for their brilliant investigative work and the logical conclusions they came to. They are truly at the top of their game!

“This sales surge as a result of the advertising campaign we’ve been running (one example at top) on the back of their efforts is indeed remarkable and is a wonderful tribute to Carla’s life’s work as well.”
