The Bug‘s tweets-of-the-week judges can’t recall any period as dominated as this past seven days was by the resignation of shit ex-minister and shit human being Alan “I didn’t impale” Tudge.

Our barrel was flooded with tweets of indignation and outrage that arguably the Turnbull/Morrison governments’ worst minister (that’s a big call, we know) not only played the “my family comes first” card as he departed with his tail and his wandering cock between his legs but that Australia’s mainstream mediocre – yes, the very same people who propped up the criminal, illegal, inhuman, Robodebt so it could eventually kill far more people – painted him as a victim of Twitter trolls.

A dozen tweets could have won this week’s blue ribbon but our judges selected Victoria Fielding (above and below) for blending the two main reasons The Bug‘s much admired Twitterbase was so incensed.

Cry me a river, indeed! Victoria was one of several who used the image that The Bug assumes was a tweet from one of the Newscorpse shitrags or shitsites.

We’ll paste it once more so we can all appreciate the little error in the blockline under the photo of the cringeworthy Tudge, his bottom lip quivering, no doubt as he recalls the trainwreck that was his appearance at the Robodebt Royal Commission.

Sats. Says. Is accuracy all that important when you’re getting stuck into that dreadful left-leaning social mediocre platform that wouldn’t know quality, balanced, professional journalism if it bit it on the bum?

Several who could have just as easily greeted our judges were CaroleMorrissey and Margarine.

We also particularly liked this Erin Molan burn from Just Your Average Punter. Were your ears and eyes burning, Erin? They should have been.

WellRed didn’t miss our mainstream mediocre either…..

… as did Women for Australia etc, etc, who also gave the mainstream mediocre and Tudge a mighty backhand…

Look, would anyone mind terribly if we paused briefly to proudly displayed the graphic The Bug ran with repeatedly during last year’s election campaign? No? Good. We commissioned a wonderful Brisbane artist Grant Flockhart to do it for us and we changed the placards when necessary as the campaign unfolded and 99.99 per cent of our nation’s mainstream “journos” were trying their best to get reelected the worse government this country has ever seen.

We still regularly shake our head that mainstream mediocre players who write LNP propaganda (it would be faster to name those who don’t than those who do!) and tried their unlevel fucking best to reelected the Liar from the Shire still look down their hypocritical brown noses at the wonderful sewer rats of Twitter with nary a blush.

And no-one has better summed up this whole anti-Twitter bullshit from a bullshit MSM – and especially from the Newcorpse national broadshit, The Australian – than Eddy Jokovich’s contribution a few days back.

There’s no place for logic, Eddy, in modern Australian media discourse!

Several of the week’s tweets got stuck into the ABC’s Insiders for not even mentioning the Robodebt RC on its first week back, followed by a casual mention yesterday. Take it away, A Better Government Elected and joan kunze….
