Boy, oh boy! My royal court insiders have been warning me for days that the Royal Family was about to break its silence over shocking allegations made against them by Prince Harry in his memoir Spare.

But the contents of a flurry of emails from the House of Windsor overnight – greedily taken up by the UK media redtops – have stunned even this old veteran observer.

As you can see from the main image (above and below) King Charles the Third is clearly heartbroken by Prince Harry’s horrid accusations and if the prince thinks there’s any chance of a family reconciliation after this, well, the poor chap really is dreaming.

Next to fire off an explosive email was the Queen Consort, Camilla, who clearly has finally had enough of the ungrateful young man’s constant putdowns, as this Daily Mail splash vividly explained.

In a joint email by both the King and his beloved Queen Consort, the House of Windsor’s attitude to the carryings-on by the Spare to the Heir was trumpeted loudly to the people of Great Britain by The Mirror.

Finally, while I as a proudly self-confessed big fan of the British royal family and as someone who can understand why they have finally, and reluctantly, lashed out at Prince Harry, their emails did spark an angry response from former cavalry officer Major James Hewitt, as the Daily Express revealed.

As this right-royal mess gets messier, I must confess I feel a little sorry for him too.
