Anyone else out there in Bugland just about had enough of The Ginger and Whinger Show? Ginger and Whinger! Once again, geez we’d come up with that one!
We applauded Harry and Meghan for escaping from the poisonous fishbowl that is the House of Windsor. And ordinarily we’d love their ongoing attacks on the British royal family for the great work they are achieving on behalf of the Australian republican movement.
But for fuck’s sake! Enough is a fucking nough! H and M, make a few hundred million on Spare and its associated round of interviews but then spare us all! Fuck off and live your lives in secrecy and silence and drop the prince shit while you’re at it, okay?
Phew! Anyway, you can possibly see from that little diatribe that our tweet-of-the-week judges couldn’t go past Mark Gillies’ lovely little pisstake (above and below) on one the UK raboids’ take on what the Ginger had to say in Spare.
Fizzy drinks go right through me as well! Priceless, Mark!

Before we leave our beloved Royal family plunged into crisis as is its wont, we also liked Matthew Cossey’s take on a certain ABC TV show..

As The Bug‘s version of the Twitterverse for the week neared its end, Peter Dutton’s latest foray into trying to sabotage the Voice to Parliament loomed large.
We couldn’t go past bradpsychology for the last part of his offering. All so sadly true.

Just Your Average Punter took a dig at The Courier-Mail for the totally expected exposure it gave to the Spud with Dead Eyes’ absurd argument that people need more information before they vote no and make Albanese look like a loser.

Quentin Dempster also waded in to show the paucity of Dutton’s arguments, one being pressed with great enthusiasm by mainstream mediocre right-wing nut jobs (is that a tautology?) such as Palme Parnell McGuinness.

Hey, while we’re talking about rightwing nut jobs, let’s say hello to Prue MacSween who shared Alan Jones’ grief that no-one’s listening to his one view anymore. May the likes of Prue, The Parrot and the Mad Monk never woke up to the news their time has passed.

Bethany Williams also waded in, taking delight on Rita Panahi’s success as an author.

This past week saw the second anniversary of the 6 January attack on the Washington Capitol and sparked these observations from Rick and PRGuy..

Captain Obvious sadly advised his Twitter followers that his arse has seen the last of the Herald Sun.

And no edition of Tweets of the Week is complete without a fond mention of you know who. So, take it away MargieJay!
