God has expressed her disappointment at not being interviewed for Australian journalist Niki Savva’s latest book on the fall of the Morrison Government.

The book Bulldozed presents an inside account of the turmoil within the Liberal/National Party government led by former prime minister Scott Morrison and the rise and victory of the Labor Party led by Anthony Albanese at the May federal election.

“I get mentioned many times in Bulldozed,” God said. “So many times that I lost count when I was speed reading the book.

“There are repeated references to Scott Morrison using my name to justify his decisions as PM, or claims by him that as prime minister he was doing my work, plus reported instances in which he and his right-wing Pentecostal acolytes in the Liberal and National parties claimed to regularly talk to me through prayer. 

“I actually didn’t need to speed read the book to know all of that, or indeed to read it at my normal pace.

“I am, after all, omnipotent so I automatically knew everything Ms Savva was writing as she wrote it.

“That’s why I was happy enough to sit and wait to be contacted by her and give my side of the story. But she never did.

“It’s very disappointing and, I believe, a lapse in judgement by an otherwise meticulous reporter and author.”

God said she had key information that would have enhanced the quality of Bulldozed.

“For a start I have never spoken to Scott Morrison or any of the Pentecostal crazies who surrounded him in government,” she said.

“I learned a long, long time ago to give any Pentecostal a wide berth. They all claim to know me and to know what I want for the individuals and the wider world. They all justify their actions as doing my work.

“Oh sure, they preach and pray and tell everyone else that they know me and what I want. They claim to be pure in thought and action.

“They bang on and on about family values and tell everyone else how to live and behave. Worst of all they continually promote their ‘prosperity doctrine’ which I have never agreed with and have never supported despite what they claim to the contrary.

“But I’ve never yet known one who doesn’t ultimately turn out to be a hypocritical, adulterous, money-grabbing, narcissistic, dog fucker.

“That’s what I would have told Ms Savva. Sadly I never had the chance,” God said.
