The Bug‘s tweet of the week judges have never, ever, been impressed by those who seek to kick someone when they are well and truly down and out ….. except, of course, when the subject of derision and cruelty is the well and truly down and out Scott Morrison.
For that reason, our tweet of the week winner is that amazing memester, arthur norman! We apologise to any Buggers out there who were trying to eat breakfast when they caught sight of arthur’s offering. A general apology to all, really, who will have trouble getting that image out of their minds for the rest of the day. To add to the nausea out there, let’s use it one more time….

The censure in Parliament of the Liar from the Shire, the Crook from Cook, the Crime Minister, Smirko/Smoko/etc, etc, generated a lot of twitter chatter, with offerings from Mark Langham, Terry Sweetman and Emma.

Pup Fiction cleverly combined the censure motion against the ukuele-strumming Morrison with recent news that the wife of the current Governor-General loves nothing more than to force guests at Yarralumla and vice-regal events elsewhere into an embarrassing singalong….

The last of the Victorian election votes are being tallied and recounted, and the Victorian Liberals and Matthew Guy may now be dead, buried and created, but the anger over the appalling “performance” of the state’s mainstream mediocre is clear in this offering from The Cockatoo.

Also taking a general dig at the former newspaper, the Herald Sun, and one of its LNP propagandists, was Rohan Connolly.

Speaking of right-wing-nut-job shock jocks (is that a tautology?) Ray Hadley came under fire from Eric of Berwick…

…while sean breen backed up some valid observations of the final episode of the ABC’s Insiders program with a pointed meme.

And why do some see the program as lopsided? Presenter David Speers copped this broadside from Simon Rosenberg….

The Bug agrees wholeheartedly with Simon.
A solid defence, Speersy? You’ve got to be fucking joking!
