The Bug’s tweets of the week judges in releasing their picks yesterday concentrated solely on comments about the Victorian election.
Today, we take a look at other tweets that tickled our collective fancies on other issues.
We won’t declare another tweet of the week winner but we simply had to highlight the offering from Peter Mavros etc etc (above) which we thought was oh so timely on the hole.
Yes, we know the meme and its punchline are not new but when it gets replayed to take a dig at the Liar from the Shire and his penchant, while waiting to be censured in the Parliament, for sitting elsewhere in the House and listening to some other rightwing nut job spewing forth faecal dribble, well, we’re up for it!
For those who don’t know what the perineum is, Google it or grab a mirror. Or read the following tweet for clarity.
The silver-tongued Kate didn’t need a high-powered inquiry to reinforce what she already knew about the Crook from Cook.

Another of our favourite Tweeters who knows the effectiveness of the occasional naughty word used the Morrison findings to have a dig at the mainstream mediocre.

Seeing we’re talking about former political roosters who are now featherdusters, take it away, Rick. Insightful as always.

Back to ScumMo/Smoko/Smirko and his love affair with some nobody called Jordan Peterson, Ronni Salt didn’t disappoint but does she ever?

Ronni! Ronni! Ronni! That’s a very loud Boom! Boom! Tissccchhh! from us!
Peter Gleeson might be gone from our lives – not forever but until a suitable time has passed a la Susssan Ley and he can sneak back onto some Newscorpse platform – but a number of Twitterers came up with the same idea for his letter of resignation after fessing up to three cases of plagiarisation.
We’ll run just the one as we pay tribute to you all for the idea. Very funny and why? Because it was probably true.

Let’s return one last time to Morrison….
