“If you don’t think there’s going to be more strikes, then blow me over…
“The unions won’t be getting it all their own goddamm way … I’ve about had enough of them.”
These words from rightwing nut job, ex-army jerk Jacqui Lambie – yes, the Tasmanian senator who’s almost a stupid as Pauline Hansen but can speak better – lit up Twitter especially after the unsound bite was used on the ABC Insiders program.
Our tweet of the week judges couldn’t go past the contribution from famous, multi-Walkley award-winning scribe Tony Koch….

They also liked this exchange on Lambie’s outburst.

Anyway, enough about this sharing, caring, Okker sheila who scuppered the Medivac process, proving that while she may not be a racist in the purest of Hanson senses, she sure can dog-whistle with the best of them.
The Yeppen Girls, Part 2
That traincrash of a stunt from the other week when easily hurt Michelle Landry and her clutch of hand-wringing crumb maidens tried to smear the PM with bullying claims continued to amuse Twitter this past week.
We say well done to arthur norman and Trisha Barraclough….

Bethany Williams gave one of the Yeppen Girls both barrels over a separate issue. Gidget McRorty! Priceless.

We now come – very, very sadly – to the issue that swamped the tweet-of-the-week barrel this week – the disgraceful, shameful, totally one-sided pile-on of the Daniel Andrews Victorian Labor government by former newspapers the Herald Sun and The Age.
We’re keeping many of them for a special Media Glass House tomorrow but here’s a taste, beginning with a Mike Carlton summation that says it all….
