The bitter, twisted old hacks that compile The Bug‘s Media Glass House think there have been fewer sadder sights in this nation’s mainstream mediocre landscape of recent times than the image above, showing yesterday’s front page of Sydney’s Daily Torygraph.
It shows just how low the MSM has slunk in Oz over recent decades, and the fact that the Dirty Digger owns two-thirds of the nation’s metropolitan print-media – much more than that by circulation – has largely been the cause of that dreadful decline into the cesspit of biased, right-wing, propaganda poorly disguised as journalism.
While it has looked fairly obvious over recent days that PM Anthony Albanese and Treasurer Jim Chalmers have been softening us up as to what they intend to do about the $240 billion in income tax cuts due in 2024, nothing excuses SNAKE CHALMERS.
It’s not journalism. It’s LNP propaganda. It sets out to villify Jim Chalmers and he hasn’t even done anything yet as the poor bastard tries to grapple with servicing a trillion-dollar debt left by you know who.
It declares that the Torygraph – and other Newscorpse outlets who no doubt followed suit – have the monopoly on what is best for Australians.
It has no other purpose than to give a much-needed leg-up and attack base for a struggling Opposition Leader and a shattered Liberal Party.
Sadly, Newscorpse won’t be alone in this endeavour. Peter Costello’s Nine Entertainment Co mastheads are fast catching up in tabloid shittery and even sections of the ABC will be climbing aboard this shameful exercise of depicting whatever Labor does as the greatest broken promise in Australian political history and reason enough on its own for Albanese and Co. to be turfed out in 2025.
Does anyone out there in Bugland disagree with the notion that if Morrison had been returned and Treasurer Josh Frydenberg was now contemplating, due to dramatically changing world conditions, paring back those 2024 cuts, then the large bulk of Australia’s corrupt MSM would be lauding his bravery in doing so?
JOSH CASHES IN! GREAT BUDGET, BY JOSH! LABOR WELL AND TRULY FRYED!

Various news outlets copped a lot of flak this week on social mediocre for calling a certain court case in Canberra the “Brittany Higgins trial” even though it’s an alleged rapist in the dock.
Sadly, The Sydney Morning Herald columnist Jacqueline Maley appears to have caught the same disease with this very troubling paragraph in her column today.

Really, Jacqueline? What charge is Brittany defending again?
