Bunnies soar to NRL favouritism!

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are now unbackable odds-on favourites to win this weekend’s NRL elimination final against the Cronulla Sharks as a result of unparalleled movements in on-line betting markets overnight.

Across all the betting agencies, the 2014 Premiers are now at even money to then overcome the Penrith Panthers on September 24 and will then again be just about unbackable as all the bookies are confident they will go on to claim the premiership at the Big Dance on Sunday October 2.

And why? Online bookies reacted quickly following release of leaked footage of the South Sydney team at a secret two-hour training session late yesterday behind the South Sydney Juniors Club in Kingsford. The video clearly shows that the entire Rabbitohs squad was outstanding and faultless in their drills, not once putting a foot wrong despite most if not all of them beyond exhaustion by the end of it.

Stand-in captain Latrell Mitchell can be see putting his players through military-precision drills over and over again until they perfected the art of milking penalties for head-highs, for any tackle above the waistline.

“Fall to the ground two three!” he can be seen shouting with his entire squad then dropping to the ground with the precision of synchronised swimmers. “Clutch your head two three.”

“Stay still until you hear the ref’s whistle two three.”

“If the whistle doesn’t blow, start to convulse two three!”
