FFS, enough already!!!

If Australia’s mainstream media can still be banging on relentlessly and almost exclusively about the death of Queen Elizabeth and looks unlikely to stop any time soon, surely The Bug’s tweets of the week can follow suit and concentrate on the same issue?

And we don’t apologise for selecting examples of a different point of view to how the mainstream mediocre is behaving at the moment. We like to call it balance!

And for that reason, our judges turned to our dear friend Ronni Salt @RonniSalt (above and below) for her bewdifully succinct summing up of how The Bug suspects the large bulk of its readership are thinking right now.

Or in other words….

THE DEAR OLD THING HAS DIED AND SHE DID A GREAT JOB BUT FOR FUCK’S SAKE, LET’ S MOVE ON!

And seeing Ronni mentioned David Speers, did anyone watch our Governor-General squirm late last week as Speersie asked him really fucking stupid questions that the G-G clearly had no intention of answering because he couldn’t, such as how much did he think the Queen truly, rooley, loved Australia. Cringeworthy shit.

And speaking of Speersie, did you see ABC chair Ita Buttrose tear up when she told him how a front-page pic of Lilibet boosted sales when she ran the Women’s Monthly way back when? No wonder Ita has ordered the ABC’s nauseating, over-the-top coverage of the Queen’s passing.

Bruce Haigh @bruce_haigh and Jeepman ICACNow @Bad_cyclist both had wider views on what the Queen’s death meant, both at the centre of empire and Down Under.

Croydon Cathy @crydoncathy and Michael Toole @profmiketoole both issued heartfelt pleas shared by many…

Patrick Duffy @duffypa12 thought long and hard on the PM’s announcement of a national day of mourning and came up with a far better reason for having one!

MFW @MFWitches and Edward Lovelock @LovelockEdward both had their say in different ways…

Making a vey serious point and one that explains why a lot of Australians don’t have a great amount of time or sympathy for the dear departed biddy was Elizabeth (no relation) Barratt @libbywah. Spot on, Elizabeth. And if it’s true that King Charles the Third way back when praised that drunken cunt Kerr for his “bravery” in dismissing Whitlam, Chuck can go fuck himself with a rubber hose, in the opinion of some at The Bug.

Her viewpoint was backed up by some bloke called Paul Bongiorno @PaulBongiorno….

And seeing we started with the wonderful Ronni Salt, let’s end with her observation of the endless political has-beens that the entire mainstream mediocre has been frantically digging up – and some of them look like they had to be dug up! – to reflect of their dealings with Her Maj.

Oh, Ronni! The IQ of a sock. Priceless. Absolutely priceless!
