The Bug‘s Xcretas-of-the-Week judges never wonder why the weekly ABC Insiders program gets so much xcrement dumped on it in this weekly column.

And why is that so? As they collectively point out, just watch the bloody shitshow and you’ll understand why no wondering is required at all.

Take last Sunday’s show with Clare Armstrong from Newscorpse on the panel. She didn’t blush once as she claimed the furore over Anthony Albanese’s alleged trainwreck of an appearance at that Canberra anti-domestic violence rally had largely died down. Even David Speers’ face didn’t change colour as he declared what happened at the event had largely turned into a “he said, she said” situation.

Blushes from both should have been obligatory and lit up every BUGger’s loungeroom given the way this nation’s woeful mainstream media, including sadly the ABC, hammered Albanese all the preceding week for making that poor DV victim and rally organiser cry!!!! You dreadful cad, you! What a load of Xcrement! Those bashing Albanese must have been heartbroken when no Newspoll was published last Sunday night to reflect their hard work sinking the boot into the PM.

Anyway, enough of our rant. At top and below is a short sharp piece of Xcrement from Ross Clelland that summed up The Bug‘s view on this matter.

And before we leave the aftermath of that rally, here’s Liam Alexander on another supposed ABC professional, Annabel Crabb, who claimed Albanese had gotten that rally “so horribly wrong”. The Bug‘s ranter-in-residence will be taking a look tomorrow at how Crabb and others got that rally two weekends ago so horribly wrong.

Someone else from dear old Aunty that frequently gets shat on from a great height from Xcretas that make their way into our prize barrel is that detester of lobotomised shitheads, the Weekend Breakfast co-presenter Fauziah Ibrahim.
